Common questions
A score looks wrong
Check your meld values in Settings first — the app ships with the standard chart, but a previous change may not match how your table plays.
A purchase did not appear
Use Restore Purchases in Settings, signed in to the same store account you bought with. If it still does not appear, write and say when you bought it.
A table code will not join
Both phones need a connection, and codes expire after about 12 hours of inactivity. Have the scorekeeper share the table again for a fresh code.
What the app stores
Games stay on your own device unless you share a table. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is kept and what leaves your phone.
Account deletion
Deleting your Meld account
Meld is a pinochle scorekeeping app published by Heritage Times LLC. Most people never create an account — the app works fully without one. An optional account exists only so your game history can be restored on a new device.
How to delete your account
Use the form at the top of this page. Enter the email address you used to create the account, choose “Deleting my account or data”, and send it. Your account and its cloud backup will be deleted within 30 days, and you will receive confirmation once it is done.

- Your cloud backup: the games, scores, hands, house rules and player names saved to it
What is not deleted
- Games stored on your own device. These never leave your phone unless you choose to back them up or share a table. Uninstalling Meld, or clearing its storage in Android settings, removes them.
- Games shared with other people at a table remain with whoever was keeping score, as their own record of the game.
Retention
Deleted accounts and backups are removed from our systems within 30 days. No copy is kept afterwards, and none of this data is ever sold or shared with third parties.
Purchases are handled by Google Play and are not affected by account deletion.
